How to create repeating alarm clocks?

You can use what we call Profiles to create repeating alarm clocks. There are multiple ways to create and edit a alarm profile:

Tap AlarmsAdd new Alarm ("+ button") to add a new alarm clock or tap AlarmsEdit and tap an existing alarm clock. Profiles are shared by all of your alarm clocks: If you edit a Profile which is being used by several alarm clocks, all these alarm clocks will adapt their repeating behavior on the changes you made to that Profile.

From here, you can either

  1. tap ProfileAdd or Edit (an existing profile) or
  2. tap and hold the Profile row right in the Add/Edit Alarm view until a small popup appears which displays buttons stating Mon, Tue, … Fri. If you swipe inside that popup from left to right, you see four more buttons (for Sat, Sun and the behavior on holidays)

Now simply tap the buttons stating the weekdays you want alarm clocks (which use this profile) to repeat and optionally select whether this alarm should auto-disable itself on public holidays and/or your personal holidays.

If you chose (1) to add or edit a Profile, tap Done and you're ready to use this Profile with any alarm clock.

If you chose (2), tap anywhere on the screen (except the popup itself) to dismiss the popup; your changes will be saved automatically.

How to manage public holidays and my holidays?

Smart Alarm uses Profiles to auto-disable alarm clocks on public holidays and/or your personal holidays, if you like. To use this, you first have to tell Smart Alarm about your personal holidays and maybe about public holidays at your location.

Public Holidays

Smart Alarm uses a crowd-sourced database to determine public holidays at your location. This means, that all users share the same database listing public holidays around the world. Smart Alarm determines your current location using your device's location services and automatically gets the corresponding public holiday data from that database.

Please make sure that the public holiday data provided for your location are complete and correct to make sure that Smart Alarm can work correctly. To do so, tap AlarmsAdd (or tap Edit and then select an alarm clock) → ProfileManage Public Holidays.

Why do I get an error message when selecting copyright-protected tracks for Sleep Timer?
